About Us:

We are an online tutoring company based in the UK offering private one-to-one tuition via our virtual classroom. Our virtual classroom is a secure learning environment and consists of an interactive whiteboard, VoIP (voice over internet protocol) and an instant messaging / chat feature. We have an option of two different types of tutors, all of whom are CRB checked (enhanced CRB). We have student tutors; who are current university students at the top 10 universities in the UK based on entry standards and we have professional tutors; these are tutors whom have achieved qualified teacher status and have previous teaching experience.

Key features:

•  Each student will be assigned a tutor suitable to their needs and requirements.
• The student, teacher and tutor will work together to identify the students strengths and weaknesses and will set clear, measurable goals to be achieved.
• The student and tutor will then work together on a one-to-one basis in a secure learning environment.
•  After each lesson the student, parent and teacher (all parties involved) will receive feedback on the lesson via email. In particular a summary of the lesson (what has been achieved etc), the areas of strength,  the areas of improvement and any work that may have been set for the student to complete.
•  After every 10 lessons the tutor will email a full progress report to all the parties involved (including the teacher, student, school liaison and parent) which will include the progress made, goals and objectives met and future recommendations.

In terms of setting up:

There are two options available to you:

1. The school can use a ‘school account’, under which all the users have access to and where they are able to book/launch lessons from.
2. Each user can create their own their account, where they can access their account and book/launch lessons from.

*Under the ‘one-to-one tuition scheme’ the students are able to receive tuition both during school hours and out of school hours, at your discretion. If you would like out of hours tuition, we would recommend the second option above.  

We are happy to supply headsets for all students to use for the whole duration of using our services.

Weekly reports

Every week, you will receive a report on the previous week’s activities including:

•  Lessons completed – including details of the lesson (which student with which tutor etc.)
•  All lesson feedbacks – a copy of the lesson feedbacks will be attached so you are able to view the progress of your students.
• Lessons booked – you will be able to view all the lessons booked for the forth coming week.

Prices:

The price’s are as follows:

Headsets will be supplied free of charge.

Payment: You will be invoiced for every 25 lessons – You will be invoiced for any out standing balance after 30 days if the additional 25 lessons mark has not been reached. 

Also included in the service is the option for us to call you every two weeks and discuss with you; how the project is going, how we can continue to add more value and to discuss any queries or problems you may be having.
